The City of Bellevue contracts our recycling with Republic Services. They have provided a brochure to help us determine what goes in recycling, and what goes in the trash.

Ever wondered about the Blackberry bushes that are growing along our creek? They are a Himalayan species of blackberry that are highly invasive and difficult to control. Originally introduced for fruit production, they are now naturalized and widespread throughout the Pacific Northwest. They are easy to spot by their large, vigorous, thicket-forming growth and sharp spines covering the stems.

The best way to remove them is to dig up the roots. Over the next few years, we will be working to better manage the growth of these sticker bushes for better enjoyment of the park area. One of the most effective tools for the removal of the roots is a weed puller; The Up Rooter.

According to a new landscaping contract Somerset Creek signed in the summer of 2014 to reduce cost, the landscapers visit on Mondays.

What type of gasoline should I use?

High octane fuels are designed for and should only be used in high performance automobile engines. Additives in the higher octane fuels can cause higher engine operating temperatures and accelerated carbon buildup in the crankcase and on the spark plugs. These factors can greatly deteriorate and trouble a smaller air-cooled engine.

It is recommended that customers use unleaded gasoline in the 84-90 octane range and avoid using gasoline with more than 10% alcohol.

The Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s) are the governing legal documents that set up the guidelines for the operation of the planned community as a non-profit corporation. Failure to abide by the CC&R’s may result in a fine to a homeowner by the Association. The governing legal documents for the association may be viewed online within the documents page of this site.

The Bylaws are the guidelines for the operation of the non-profit corporation. The Bylaws define the duties of the various offices of the Board of Directors, the terms of the Directors, the membership’s voting rights, required meetings and notices of meetings, and the principal office of the Association, as well as other specific items that are necessary to run the Association as a business.
